Main House Details

Each child attending the Main House is required to supply:

A large school bag for all of their belongings

A piece of vegetable (that is able to be eaten raw) for our vegetable and fruit platters in morning tea and afternoon tea. 

A beanie that covers your child's ears or a wide brim hat for summer clearly labelled.

A set of cot sheets (one fitted and one flat sheet) in a pillow case or drawstring bag accompanied with a blanket in cooler months. 

A water bottle that has a lid (please only provide water not juice) 

  • Expressed breast milk or Prepared formula where needed, with one extra bottle and formula just in case it is needed throughout your child's day (cows milk, rice cereal and weetbix is supplied)
  • Face washer for your childʼs face and hands (in a separate labelled zip lock bag)
  • Any cream or powder you would like us to use in nappy changes

Please note: We supply all nappies. If you would like your child in different nappies to the ones we provide (for allergy reasons or cloth nappies) please supply these. We require 6 nappies per day, as we need 1-2 spares. 

Extra weather appropriate pants, shoes and socks, in case your child needs to be changed.  

Extra under wear are required when toilet training. (All clearly marked with your childʼs name)

Mainhouse Food

  • Kidz Place is a fully catered hot meals service. Our menus are carefully thought out and designed by a Dietician and Nutritionist from NSW Health that are on a six weekly rotating roster - so there is plenty of different meals that the children enjoy! We meet the Australian daily intake guidelines for all food groups throughout one day. We cater from introducing solids/purees (roughly 6 months of age) up until age 4.5. Allergies and religious beliefs are all strictly catered for.
  • Over your childʼs day, Kidz Place provides: (Kidz Place provides water or cows milk at every meal time)
  • Breakfast for early children at 8:00am till 8.15am only
  • Morning Tea
  • Hot Lunch 
  • Afternoon Tea
  • Late afternoon tea at 5.30pm.

Cottage Details

Each child attending the cottage is required to supply:

Weather Appropriate Spare clothes (including extra underwear etc) 

  • Kidz Place is a fully catered hot meals service. Our menus are carefully thought out and designed by a Dietician and Nutritionist from NSW Health that are on a six weekly rotating roster - so there is plenty of different meals that the children enjoy! We meet the Australian daily intake guidelines for all food groups throughout one day. In the cottage we cater for the 3 - 4.5 year olds. Allergies and religious beliefs are all strictly catered for.
  • During term 4, any child transitioning to Kindergarten should bring a lunch in a school lunch box to assist their school readiness preparation. (We refrigerate the lunch boxes however, please do not provide anything that we need to heat up as we are training the children for big school where they will not be able to heat food for their lunch.)

Cottage Food

  • Breakfast for early children at 8:00am until 8:15am only
  • Morning Tea.
  • 3-4.5 years old are still catered for by our service however 4.5-5 year olds are to supply lunch in a lunchbox for school readiness. A sandwich fillings information sheet by Nutrition Australia is provided at the beginning of each year.

Afternoon Tea

Late Afternoon Tea if they are a long day child. 

Please note: That we do not allow chocolate, lollies, chips, any “junk food” as well as products containing peanuts to be consumed on the premises. We have children with anaphylactic allergies and would require your strict participation for their safety.  All of our food is audited by a dietician and nutritionist to ensure a high quality and balance.
