Stephan (Director / Licensee)

Stephan is husband to Rose and a proud father to Tara and Ari.  After a successful career in the corporate world, Stephan is following his passion and has moved into early childhood education.  HIs vision for Kidz Place ELC is to provide children with an opportunity to grow through inspiration, creativity and difference.

Megan (Early Childhood Teacher & Nominated Supervisor)

Megan is a qualified and experienced Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (0-12 years) and leads our school readiness program.  Megan has returned to Kidz Place after previously working here for two years.  She returns with more experience and is keen to take our quality of childcare to the next level.  Megan's philosophy for teaching is creative, play based, enquiry learning.  She is dedicated to a holistic approach to the skills required for the children to enter kindergarten.  Megan is a mum to a teenage daughter and teenage son.

All educators employed at Kidz Place ELC hold professional qualifications. They hold a Certificate III in Children’s Services, a Diploma in Children’s Services or a Bachelor of Education - Early Childhood Education.  Collectively they have many years of experience in the industry.

 

The educators at Kidz Place continue to build on their knowledge by attending industry training to ensure that we continue to provide a high quality childcare service.

 

We maintain a minimum of 50% Diploma level educators in our centre.

• National Quality Framework - Standards and Regulations

• School Readiness programming

• Behaviour Management

• Baby Interactions

• Senior First Aid Certificate

• Asthma and Anaphylaxis First Aid

• CPR Training

• Food Safety Supervisor

• Managing Fussy Eaters

• Identify and Respond to Children and Young persons at risk of harm

• WHS trained

• All Educators must hold a current Working With Children certificate.
